- Download the app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
- Tap“Sign Up” and enter your email address.
- You’ll receive a verification code by email — enter this code in the app.
- Once verified, you’ll be prompted to create a secure password.
- Use your email and new password to log in and start using your smart home devices.
- Check Power Supply Ensure the device is powered on and batteries (if applicable) are not depleted.
- Verify Wi-Fi or Hub Connection Make sure your device is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network (2.4GHz) or paired with the Aqara Hub.
- Restart the Device Power off and restart the device. For battery devices, remove and reinsert the batteries.
- Restart the Aqara App Close and reopen the Aqara Home app to refresh the connection.
- Check Internet Connection Ensure your phone and hub have a stable internet connection.

- Open Aqara Home App
- Go to Profile: Tap the 'Profile' icon (usually bottom right).
- Navigate to Home Settings: Select 'Home Management' or 'Home Settings'.
- Select Your Home: Choose the specific home you want to share.
- Invite Member: Tap on 'Invite new members' or 'Invite family members'.
- Enter Email: Type in the email address associated with the other person's Aqara account (they must have already registered).
- Set Role: Choose their access level (Admin for full control, Member for basic control).
- Send Invite: Send the invitation.
- Open Aqara Home App: Launch the Aqara Home app on your mobile device.
- Go to Profile/Me: Tap on the "Me" or profile icon (often in the bottom right corner)
- Find Account Settings: Look for options like "Account & Security," "Personal Information," or "Settings."
- Edit Email: Find your current email address and tap to edit it.
- Verify Changes: The app will likely send a verification code to your current email or phone number to confirm the update.
- Enter Code: Input the code into the app to complete the change
Tap “Forgot Password” on the login screen and follow the instructions to reset via email.

To view multiple cameras at once:
- Open the Aqara Home App on your phone.
- Go to the Devices tab where all your cameras are listed.
- Select a camera and press “Home Live View”
- Open Aqara Home App

Add Your Device
Press the “+” button.
Pick the device you want to add.
Follow the steps on the screen to connect -
Put Device in a RoomAfter it connects, the app will ask you to choose a room.
Pick a room name (like Living Room or Bedroom).
Or make a new room by typing a name. -
Save
Tap Save or Done.
Your device is now in that room. -
If you want to change the room later:
Go to the device settings - Room - choose another room.
Yes, you can control your smart home devices remotely. If your devices are connected to your home Wi-Fi network and your smartphone has internet access (via mobile data or another Wi-Fi connection), you can monitor and manage all devices through the mobile app — anytime, from anywhere.
Yes, you can invite other users through the app to share access. Each user can have their own login and permissions.
- Open Aqara Home App: Launch the app on your phone.
- Go to Profile/Settings: Navigate to your Profile, then select "Home Management" or "Home Settings".
- Select Your Home: Choose the specific home you want to share.
- Invite Member: Tap "Invite new members".
- Enter Details: Type in the email address associated with the family member's existing Aqara account.
- Assign Role: Choose their role (Admin or Member) and set any device permissions.
- Send Invitation: Send the invite.
- Accept Invitation: The family member receives the invite in their Message Center (under Invitations) and must accept it.
Only the master user can add and remove devices. Normal app users can only use the smart devices.
